• A background to the crisis, recapping the Bay of Pigs and the increased pressure on the U.S. from the USSR.

• Discussion of Khrushchev's motives for putting missiles on Cuba and a consolidation task about the situation.

• A short video on the events of the crisis and then a choice of two levels of difficulty in consolidating the main events.

• Consequences of the Crisis using the info sheets provided. It serves as exam practice as the worksheet is in the format of the exam.

• A choice of plenaries: exam practice or source analysis.
