Elizabeth L18 - Elizabethan Pastimes & Entertainment

This lesson contains:

• An interesting search question at the beginning to spot different activities in a picture on the board.

• An activity to mind map (or use any othe rmethod you choose) information which is displayed on the board about pastimes. The students make notes on sports, music, dancing and literature.

• A chance to study theatre. There is a video about the theatre and students complete a quiz sheet as they watch.

• A choice of plenaries: a quiz or an exam question.
