Dictators L8 - How Did Hitler Rise to Power?

This lesson contains
A starter that builds on the previous lesson in the scheme, reminding students about the problems in Germany. You can edit to suit whatever you previously taught.
A task to look at the Munich Putsch, since this lesson follows on from Hitler's beliefs and Hitler is now ready to make his move. This done by an online video and questions for the students to do to summarise why it failed. 
An activity for students to study all the ways Hitler then tried to get to power and gain popularity after he comes of out of jail, including speeches, the SA, propaganda etc. This is done by using the information sheet and completing the worksheet.
A plenary to look at the consequences of him becoming chancellor and consider what steps he my take to consolidate his power.
