Reform L5 - Did the Chartists Influence Voting Change?

This lesson contains:
A starter to recap previous learning fro the campaign for rights lessons.
A recap of the Great Reform Act and which groups in society would like or dislike it. The teacher can then introduce the Chartists and their goals.
An introduction to the 6 points of the Chartists and a discussion based on the parts of it. Students then discuss which parts they think would be accepted or rejected by Parliament.
An activity for students to study the goals of Attwood and O'Connor and how they differ int heir approach. They can complete the worksheet on this.
A final task to study the later Reform Acts and what impact they had on the suffrage movements and increase in the franchise. 
A plenary to discuss whether the Chartists were successful in thier impact on the later reform movements using the stimulus provided.
