Women's Suffrage L6 - What Role Did Women Play in WW1?

This lesson contains:
A starter to consider the outbreak of WW1 and how the Suffragettes might react.
Discussion of the jobs women performed during the war.
A YouTube video by Jeremy Paxman on women in WW1, and then an activity to use the information provided to answer questions about the canaries, postal roles etc.
A consolidation activity for students to write a summary or letter to explain to Parliament why women deserve the vote based on their actions (in the present tense) in WW1 so far.
