Why Did the League of Nations Fail?

This lesson contains:
An introduction to the problems of the League of Nations and some of the reasons it was quite powerless to stop major issues.
A video that has a question sheet to go with it. Students watch this and learn about the Manchuria and Abyssinia Crisis' and their impact on the League.
An activity to study the information sheet and why the League failed. Students catagorise the information and the reasons for failure. Then, they doa  diamond 9 to rank the 9 different categories. There is also an opportunity to do a write up of their judgement as the main reasons the League failed.
