Saxons & Normans L13 - The 1068 Revolt of Edwin and Morcar

This lesson contains:
A teacher-led review of William becoming king and the Normandy trip that frustrated the Earls, setting the scene for the revolt. There is a short writing out task with gaps for students to get a short paragraph in their books for the background information.
A task to study the information and complete the main causes of the revolt on their worksheets. Students then continue to find out what happened from a video on You Tube, then complete the events and consequences of the revolt.
A plenary to review the events of this lesson.
